Summary: Indoor games have not only helped people to overcome their boredom but also made their mind sharp and alert to perform their daily activities.

But how far can we take these indoor games? Are they really useful for people or they bore them? Though indoor games are played for recreation during the leisure time but still they are unable to make a platform or recognition in the field of international sports.

There are many indoor games that are played and are loved by hundreds but still they need to get a renowned glory world wide. These games can be categorized has chess, poker, billiards, carom and many more which can be played during fun time but they do not hold a place in the sporting list.

These games are played between two to three players which may include kids and adults. Chess is one of the most popular indoor games which can be played on the computer, it is an interesting game that kills time but people do get addicted to play with it. Although chess sharpens a person’s mind but people sometimes tend to sacrifice their daily routines.

There are other indoor games such as basketball which is played inside a sealed auditorium and is highly acclaimed in different nations. Americans love this sporting action and numbers of students after schooling themselves get involved in such a feat. Women are also equally involved in this sport and like men they too receive applause and praises from the crowd.

There are other sports that are also recognized as indoor games which can be named as badminton, billiards, and many more which are played world wide. They fail to pull the crowd towards the auditorium whereas few like to cherish them.

These indoor games turn uglier when people are addicted while playing with them. The much awaited videogames are driving people to nearby cyber-café where they are ready to spend hundreds of bucks on a single game. People of various ages like to get a hold with the videogames and tend to forget their everyday work.

Games like poker encourage people to spend thousands of dollars to win a jackpot. Poker is highly played in casinos where people loose miserably if not they take a large winning by luck. People are ready to bet any amount to win their money back this gets much nastier when people play them till the end of losing a penny.

Videogames, chess, poker make people clumsier to interact with the outside world. People tend to forget their daily works kids like to stay back from the school and adults ignore their work. They get involved in these games and ultimately loose interest in the happenings of the world.

Olympics and other international sports organizations involved indoor games such as badminton and basketball which has some how managed to make their place internationally. Though these sports are paid high but it’s up to the crowd to get tempted and attracted towards such sports.

This becomes a great concern for the organizers to promote such sports or the marketing of such sports should be done with a greater pace. Compared to big sporting events such as the Soccer football, tracks and fields, cricket these indoor sports are squeezed and are limited. This is why they are restricted from getting into the limelight.
