Sports have thrilled and excited many for centuries and different sports have seen the birth of a new legend. These people become crazy on a particular sport and make it to be their bread and butter. Many professional sportsmen are paid heavily to perform a live action on the stage or are given huge chunks for single endorsements.

The adventure and excitement for sports started back to thousands of years which were produced by the Romans. These sports were brutal which involved Gladiators to fight till death. The crowd loved this brutal sport and applause to the winning person, but this was not as easy as it sounds. This was taken much beyond the limits when man was forced to fight the beast, gladiators usually had a small dagger and was thrown to fight in the amphitheater which led to the death of either the two.

But sports of the modern world have scaled to higher limits, where the sportsman not only gets a sporting stardom but also is awarded with millions of dollars. Clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Arsenals and many such giants clubs organize football throughout the year and by the end of the play they take back huge profits. But it the sports lovers that make it possible for a particular sport to raise from phoenix.

There are other sports that take a person’s life such sports are aggressive one and a pinch of those ancient gladiatorial sports could be seen in them. Such sports are boxing, martial arts, bull-fighting or may be a horse race, they tend to take the sportsman’s life but at the end it becomes an enjoyable sport.

People are injured they die or are paralyzed but still the sport is replaced by new sportsmen who are determine to carry on the task and make the crowd happy. Some athletes do resign or quit the sport due to their fall from their stardom or due to the injuries or because of the aging factor. Such sportspersons tend to take up part time jobs and coach the new generation of sporting people. They work in sport clubs or some gymnasium to carry on with their lives.

There are other sports that are trying to make their place at the international level but still they are lacking behind. This might be due financial structure or may be the crowd does not like to see them or may be the sports are not so interesting to pull the crowd.
