Navy SEAL and its Recruitment

Anyone can become a Navy Seal but there are certain clauses to become an amphibious soldier. First of all the candidate must be a citizen of United States and should be a male by gender. He should be 28 years old or younger and should have good vision.

The applicant must be a member of either the US Navy or the Coast guard and should pass a physical screening test. This test includes swimming 500 yards in 12.5 or less, followed by a 10 minutes rest. Which is followed by 42 push-ups in under two minutes, followed by a two-minute rest, six pull-ups and run 1.5 miles in boots and long pants in less than 11.5 minutes.

Training of Naval Amphibious Base spans for 30 months. It is one of the toughest training programs for special operations in the world, with an 80 percent dropout rate.

Besides conventional warfare, there is training in combat swimming, diving, handling weapons underwater, communications, navigation, close-quarter combat, demolition, land warfare, parachute operations, combative.

There are various weapons and gears that are used by these amphibious forces; they are equipped with the most sophisticated tools which aids them to save themselves and others during a war.

Weapons choice is mission-dependent with a wide array of firearms to choose from: handguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, submachine guns, machine guns, combat shotguns, grenade launchers, mortars and anti-tank rockets. These weapons are highly guided by computers and satellites which make them smooth to be operated.

The Navy SEALs have performed both on screen and off screen, and Hollywood played a great role in bringing them alive and introducing them to the world. There are certain movies that featured this Naval Amphibious Force on the big screen, Behind Enemy Lines (2001), Tears of the Sun (2003), the Rock (1996), and Navy Seals (1990). These movies portrayed their existence and made them familiar in the hearts of many.

Martial Arts

We have a thirst to win, and winning over our neighbor leads us to to conquer our zeal to achieve the top spot. This conquer and aggression can be seen in some people who are involved in some aggressive sports. These sports can be in form of Boxing or martial arts that leads people to set off bullying others in their vicinity.
